Our week started with a really early morning, calling our Buddy Team ASE in Melbourne. We had a lot of fun getting to know the one of the other teams [check out our featured image !!!]. Of course we also discussed our progress on the Opportunity Cards and the technologies on the CERN website. After some research we decided on the following topics for our TECH Cards:

- Single Layer 3D tracking semiconductor detector

- ROOT
- Remus
- Radon Detector
- Nino
- Quantum Dosimeter
Later this week the teaching team showed us how the days at CERN could look like. Therefore we are excited to continue the research for our Opportunity and Technology Cards, even though we had a minor setback because one of our interview partners canceled on us.

This weeks quote was inspired by some of our current research topics. We did a lot of reading on digital well-being, phone addiction and mental health illness due to stressful (work) environments and constant reachability. Therefore we believe a little time away from our phones doing the things we love could benefit us all.
