Sad news! Teaching Team member Peter is leaving us for 3 months to teach about Design-Thinking in Porto. Good for them, sad for us! 🙁
As a farewell, we organized a small party with:

  • a TimTam Slam,
  • Bolo de Bolacha,
  • Pastel de Nata,
  • and a portrait made with the laser cutter.

It was a successful surprise party and we wish Peter all the best in Porto!

In order to make our individual stations and milestones more tangible by 2030, we decided to create a roadmap.

1st version of our roadmap by 2030

In 2020, we will start developing our first prototypes and test them in the North Sea. Furthermore we will initiate an awareness campaign for the overfishing problem. We also need to find partners in research and industry for funding. One option are the offshore drilling companies that have a guilty conscience because of their pollution. They sponsor sustainable small companies who take care about the environment.

Between 2020 and 2025 the governments start to realize that sustainability is important and work together to enact new international laws.
We will continue testing our prototypes in the Mediterranean Sea.
In addition we will release the sustainable label for fish products.

By 2030, ReMy will be deployed in large scale. Fish will become more expensive, due to the decreasing supply.
